Uri Niv


Uri Niv is a litigation associate at Larson O’Brien LLP.  Mr. Niv’s practice focuses on complex legal disputes in the areas of catastrophic torts and contractual disputes, internal investigations, and white collar criminal defense.  Mr. Niv has experience in all stages of litigation, having successfully opposed dispositive motions, prevailed in complex discovery disputes, and represented clients in post-trial motion practice and appeals. 

Mr. Niv earned his law degree from the UCLA School of Law, where he was president of the Moot Court Honors Program and winner of the First Year Moot Court Competition.  While in law school, Mr. Niv served as an extern to the Honorable John A. Kronstadt of the United States Court for the Central District of California.  He earned his bachelor's degree in film writing, summa cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Mr. Niv remains a Bruin at heart and is a lifetime member of the UCLA Alumni Association and heads the Downtown Los Angeles Bruin Professionals’ Board.

Before attending UCLA, Mr. Niv served as a Tank Commander in combat deployment and attained the rank of Sergeant Major in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
