Angela C. Makabali


Angela C. Makabali is a litigation associate at Larson O'Brien LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. 

Prior to joining Larson O'Brien, Ms. Makabali served as a law clerk to the Honorable Johnnie B. Rawlinson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to the Honorable George B. Daniels of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Ms. Makabali was previously an associate at two international law firms. Her experience includes representing clients in civil fraud matters, securities litigation, and federal investigations. As part of her robust pro bono practice, she obtained T visas on behalf of eleven Filipino trafficking victims and has represented clients in federal class action litigation.

Ms. Makabali received her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. In law school, she served as an Articles Editor for the California Law Review, was awarded the Prosser Prize for Introduction to U.S. Legal and Constitutional History, and was a William K. Coblentz Fellow. She graduated, cum laude, from Harvard University.
